We are seeking an experienced Manager of DME RCM Operations to oversee our team of 25 onshore and 50 offshore resources, focusing on the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing DME-specific RCM processes, including practice management, EHR support, and billing processes.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing DME-specific RCM processes, including practice management, EHR support, and billing processes.
This role requires overseeing client delivery, managing KPIs, implementing process improvements, and optimizing operational efficiency while effectively leveraging both onshore and offshore teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of 75 people, including both onshore and offshore resources, ensuring high performance and alignment with DME-specific revenue cycle goals.
- KPI Improvement: Focus on improving DME-specific RCM metrics such as cash collection, account resolution rates, denial management, and reimbursement timelines.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (operations, finance, IT) and offshore resources to create and execute RCM strategies for DME clients, ensuring smooth workflows and excellent service delivery.
- Process Improvement: Analyze existing processes for inefficiencies and implement best practices to standardize and optimize DME RCM workflows.
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training to internal teams and offshore resources, emphasizing best practices for DME billing, coding, and claims resolution.
- Performance Monitoring: Evaluate and track the impact of process improvements, ensuring KPIs and DME-specific revenue cycle goals are met.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert on DME RCM operations, providing guidance and support to internal teams and clients for effective management of the revenue cycle.
- Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports and updates for senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and milestones in DME RCM operations.
- Industry Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and regulatory requirements related to DME, including changes in payer policies and DME-specific billing practices.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Healthcare Administration a plus
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in RCM operations, with a specific focus on Durable Medical Equipment (DME), process improvement, and successful implementation.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage large, distributed teams, including offshore resources, while maintaining high levels of productivity and engagement.
- DME Expertise: In-depth knowledge of DME billing, coding, payer requirements, and reimbursement processes.
- Software Knowledge: Experience with Brightree software systems and billing software is required.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple DME-specific projects and meet deadlines.
- Compliance and Regulations: Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements related to RCM in the DME industry, such as HIPAA and HITECH.
- Certifications: Certification in project management or revenue cycle management (e.g., PMP, CRCR) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders in the DME space.
