Accounts Payable Specialist

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist at our Fort Worth, Texas location. This role is within the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry, where you will be responsible for supporting the company's accounts payable process, maintaining effective vendor relationships, and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices.
Responsibilities- Manage the entire process of accounts payable within the company.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Review and approve vendor invoices before payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Accurately input invoices into the accounting system, ensuring they are correctly coded and categorized.
- Prepare and process various forms of payments, such as checks and automated clearing house transfers, in accordance with company policies.
- Regularly reconcile accounts payable to ensure the accuracy and completeness of records.
- Collaborate with the procurement and finance teams to improve processes and resolve issues.
- Generate accounts payable reports for management review, identifying trends and anomalies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, maintaining proper documentation for audit purposes.
- Use various accounting software systems and tools, such as ADP
- Financial Services and ERP
- Enterprise Resource Planning, to efficiently manage accounting functions.
- Proficiency in accounting software systems is crucial to this role
- Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required
- Familiarity with Netsuite ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is a must
- Solid understanding of general accounting functions is important
- Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is key
- Knowledge of Account Coding is essential
- Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions is necessary
