The Electro Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and components of manufacturing equipment and facilities. The role focuses on ensuring optimal performance of electrical machinery and systems to support production activities. Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferably with an Associate’s degree in Electrical Technology or a related field).
- 3+ years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and control systems.
- strong understanding of PLCs, VFDs, motors, and other electrical components.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, voltmeters, and electrical testing equipment.
- strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to resolve issues quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with other team members.
- strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with robotics, automated systems, and advanced PLC troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Certification in electrical systems (e.g., Journeyman or Master Electrician certification).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including standing, bending, and lifting.
- Ability to work with electrical systems and safely use electrical tools and equipment.

Responsibilities- Perform routine electrical maintenance and repairs on production machinery, equipment, and systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems, including issues with wiring, circuits, control systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Repair, calibrate, and install electrical equipment, sensors, motors, and other related components.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure minimal downtime of electrical systems and equipment.
- Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new electrical systems and equipment.
- Monitor electrical systems to ensure they meet safety and quality standards, following company procedures and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, regulations, and safety practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of electrical repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and production teams to address any electrical-related issues.
- Assist in the troubleshooting and repair of PLCs, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems.
- Respond to emergency repair needs and minimize production downtime.
