FULL DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the CEO, the HR Manager designs, plans, and implements a variety of human resources programs including staffing, compensation, benefits, immigration, performance management, payroll, employee relations, compliance, and training.

He/she exercises independent judgment and is familiar with human resources laws, concepts, best practices, and procedures.
The ideal candidate has practical experience leading change and increasing organizational effectiveness.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
-Establish and maintain human resources policies and procedures for the Company.-Partner with Company management to foster equitable HR practices across all levels.
Includes employee relations, talent retention, leadership development, succession planning, safety, compensation & performance management, etc.-Stay current on competitive / market information regarding compensation, benefits, policies, etc.-Ensure compliance with local, State and Federal laws.-Oversee the recruitment, selection, and on-boarding process.-Manage employee benefit programs.-Lead staff performance review process and make recommendations for improving performance and productivity.-Foster a positive and productive workplace that inspires excellence through an open-door policy, rewards programs, company events, etc.-In conjunction with managers, assess training needs and implement training programs.-Develop and provide metric reports as needed regarding human capital management.-Accurately complete semi-monthly payroll by deadline and maintain securely all payroll/HR files.
The selected candidate will also possess:

-Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Human Resources Manager, with at least 2 years in a management role, preferably within a manufacturing/engineering environment in a small to mid-size company.-Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, and/or current SHRM HR Certification is strongly preferred.-Strong HR Generalist background is essential to lead this Human Resources Department of one.-Excellent communication and dispute resolution skills across all levels is needed.-Detail oriented, with the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects.-Experience with ADP Workforce Now, and experience working for a federal contractor are preferred.

Salary Range: $38-$45/hr
