  • This position will be based at our corporate office in Atlanta with a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities:

The role of the Senior Financial Analyst at Davidson Hospitality is to serve as the senior analytical support in the evaluation of potential hotel investments (Acquisitions, Saves, New Developments, and Management Takeovers), with specific focus on leading the investment analysis, property-specific underwriting, market research, site inspections/property tours, and preparation of investment materials, proposals and presentations for internal and external partners.

This role will also serve as a key leader on the analytical team, training and providing guidance to junior members of the team.

As Senior Financial Analyst at a fully integrated hotel operations and investment platform, s/he will also contribute to the team’s investment management and FP&A responsibilities. This will include conducting analyses and evaluating value-add opportunities on Davidson’s existing portfolio to maximize operational performance and investment value, and working directly with c-suite and senior executives on corporate strategy and finance activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Hospitality, Real Estate and/or Finance
  • Experience and/or course workload must consist of Excel and financial modeling
  • Relevant work/internship experience with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in Hospitality, Real Estate, Finance, or other applicable areas
  • Basic knowledge of hospitality real estate markets, including operations, debt/equity structures and exhibits familiarity with real estate terminology
  • Ability to think critically
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Highly developed organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time or more depending on current business activity
  • Ability to manage a heavy workload and prioritize appropriately
  • Ability to work well and collaborate with others as well as be self-directed and independent to achieve project deadlines
  • Ability to identify opportunities to create/improve existing models and analyst practices
  • Business writing ability
  • Strong computer skills: Excel (modeling and analysis), PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, online research tools
