Role OverviewWe are seeking a Process Improvement Technician to join our Ingot department in Davenport, IA. This role involves a range of manufacturing process engineering and production activities aimed at enhancing efficiency and safety within the department.
Key Responsibilities
Lean Manufacturing Implementation: Coordinate and apply Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize material flow and gain a thorough understanding of the manufacturing process.Tactical Projects: Focus on safety, recovery improvements, training, and production efficiency. Lead and support projects related to process improvements, capital projects, and reliability excellence.
Problem-Solving: Execute problem-solving initiatives to address process and machine improvements. Flexibility to work off-shifts as needed to support these efforts.
QualificationsBasic Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution.
8 years of manufacturing experience.U.S. person status as defined by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which includes U.S. Citizens, U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card Holders), Political Asylees, or Refugees.
Legal authorization to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
3 years of supervisory experience.Experience with aluminum casting processes.
Proficiency in applying Lean Manufacturing principles in a manufacturing setting.
Strong skills in business, technical analysis, and problem-solving.
CompensationBase Salary: USD $70,000 to $80,000 per year
