They are seeking an experienced and compassionate Human Resources Manager to lead and oversee their HR functions, ensuring the organization operates with efficiency and aligns with its core values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Strategy: Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the organization's mission and goals.
  • Talent Acquisition: Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job postings and interviews to onboarding, ensuring the organization attracts top talent.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, mediating conflicts, and promoting a culture of inclusivity and collaboration.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and organizational policies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR legal requirements.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the performance review process, provide coaching to managers, and support professional development plans for staff.
  • Training & Development: Identify and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and support career growth.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Administer payroll, benefits, and compensation programs. Conduct market research to ensure competitive offerings.
  • HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR systems to ensure efficiency.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Champion DEI initiatives to create an equitable and welcoming workplace for all employees.
  • HR Metrics: Track and report on key HR metrics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and nonprofit sector dynamics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport across diverse teams.
  • Proven experience in conflict resolution, coaching, and employee engagement.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A commitment to the mission and values of the nonprofit sector.
