Position Summary; This position requires a self-motivated, reliable employee to join our Production staff as a Machine Operator. This position reports to the Production Supervisor. This position supports the company’s production facility with the responsibilities that are included below.
What you’ll do:- Daily tasks include setup and operate a pouching machine or bottling Line
- Regulate machine by settings and adjusting controls
- Troubleshoot machine issues
- Input production records into PS Seasonings ERP system using a laptop or tablet
- Record QC paperwork and digital quality checks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment meeting production goal
- Examine and inspect materials, containers, and products to ensure that specifications are met
- Load materials and products into package processing equipment
- Measure, weigh, and count products and materials
- Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records
- Mark and label containers, tags and products using marking tools
- Clean up work area including products, bags, boxes before next project
- Comply with GMP, personal hygiene, HACCP and other quality and safety programs
- Other duties as assigned
- Basic math skills required
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to read and write in English preferred
- Mechanically inclined to set up machine
- Physical requirements include lifting to 60 lbs., bending, standing and climbing
- Ability to work independently or with a team
