- Be punctual, reliable, and courteous.
- Should own and have basic tools required at hiring;
correct category rating). (Cat IV 600V and Cat III 10,000V)(Also have knowledge of use of meter) Wire

- Should understand basic wiring:
- Familiar with basic lockout tag out concepts.

- Should be able to have basic welding ability.
- Ability to work on own with basic instructions from supervisor or lead mechanic.
- Ability to read and understand trouble shooting manuals and parts illustrations
