Part-Time Accounting Clerk

We are looking for a Part-Time Accounting Clerk to support our client's accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, and the ability to work efficiently in a part-time schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform data entry of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting protocols.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions, including creating invoices and tracking payments.
  • Organize and maintain financial documents, invoices, and statements for internal and external audits.
  • Prepare and assist in generating routine financial reports for management review.
  • Support payroll processing by gathering and ensuring the accuracy of timesheets.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve issues related to payment or invoicing.
  • Perform other administrative accounting duties as assigned.

  • Proven experience as an accounting clerk, bookkeeper, or related role is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, SAP) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's degree in Accounting or related field is a plus.
