Medical Receptionist

We are seeking a Medical Receptionist based in Stockbridge, Georgia. The role is central to our team, focusing on customer service and administrative tasks within the medical industry. The position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity, providing a pivotal function in managing patient communication and maintaining accurate records.

• Answer incoming calls and provide information as needed
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Handle and distribute messages from patients and healthcare professionals
• Conduct typing tasks to complete correspondence as required
• Utilize MS Office for various administrative tasks
• Leverage software such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dentrix Dental Software, Eaglesoft, and EHR SYSTEM for managing patient data
• Respond to inbound calls and resolve patient inquiries
• Perform billing functions as required
• Create and maintain patient charts and graphs
• Check in patients and manage their records efficiently. • Proficiency with Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dentrix Dental Software, Eaglesoft, and EHR SYSTEM.
• Ability to effectively answer and manage inbound calls.
• Experience with billing functions in a medical setting.
• Familiarity with creating and interpreting charts and graphs.
• Ability to efficiently check in patients and manage patient flow.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• High level of discretion to maintain confidentiality of patients' records.
• Previous experience in a medical receptionist role is preferred.
