Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Continuous Improvement Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Training Within Industry (TWI) principles, with expertise in job instruction, job safety, and job methods.
This role will play a key role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our operational workforce, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of our operations. The Analyst creates and maintains statistical models for ongoing and ad-hoc review and analysis of data.

They use data visualization programs, tools, and techniques to generate dashboards, reports and presentations that aid in data storytelling, understanding and interpretation of trends and patterns of business importance.

Essential Duties:

  • Create and validate ad-hoc data analysis for reporting purposes and create recurring data analysis tools for factory use.
  • Educate data consumers across the company in data assumptions and calculations used for each data tool.
  • Standardize data collection, analysis, and visualization techniques.
  • Continuously deepen knowledge on applicable subject matter and industry standards.
  • Collect, clean, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Use statistical tools and data visualization techniques to present findings clearly.
  • Support process improvement projects by providing data-driven recommendations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Monitor the impact of improvement initiatives and report on their effectiveness.
  • Partner with departments such as Operations, Quality, and Environmental Health and Safety to understand business challenges.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems and reporting tools.
  • Identify and implement improvements to data collection and storage processes.
  • Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in data analytics and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on data-driven decision-making practices.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

  • To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees’, wearing PPE is a possibility and includes equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.

Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred

Education
  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Accounting, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Education, or related field
Essential Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of experience in data analytics, process improvement, or a related role.
  • Experience with data interaction and usage in the following stages: acquisition, aggregation, analysis, and visualization.
  • Statistical Analysis methods plus software proficiency required.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, encompassing Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Strong writing and record keeping skills.
  • Works effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving workplace.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a startup environment building and scaling processes.
  • Business Intelligence software proficiency such as Smartsheet, Tableau, PowerBI, or similar platforms.
  • Programming skills for data analytics required such as SQL, and Python.
