Facilities Mechanical Process Startup Engineer

- Coordinate with Facilities team for turnover of systems. Support O&M with troubleshooting system failures and reporting of events
- Participate and provide feedback in design reviews of capital projects
- Understand Sequence of Operation (SOO) and how system is designed to operate
- Coordinate field walks with engineering technicians for equipment and piping inspections
- Develop Integrated System Test (IST) for approval. Participate in Integrated System Testing (IST) with our commissioning team
- Ensure alignment with Startup Manager on system priorities
- Execute commissioning checklists verification and Cx walks (hand-off)
- Review vendor commissioning reports and upload files to the Completions Management System (CMS)
- Define spare for each system being turned over to O&M team - Compile handover documentation (IOMs, Submittals, Spare Parts, Startup Reports) for turnover to O&M team
- Review closure of Cc and Cx issues - Track and review construction issues documented in the Completions Management System (CMS)
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 2 years commissioning experience in oil and gas or large capital projects
- Great organizational skills
- Confident and able to work on own initiative and with limited supervision
- Commitment to safety
- Flexible and able to adapt to current and new company requirements
- Ability to interact and coordinate with other departments
- Proficient with Completion Management Systems (CxAlloy, Pims, WinPCS, Mancon, or equivalent) is a plus
