Service Technician

As a Service Technician, you will join a dynamic team servicing a leading provider of power systems in the north east area. You will work in the field to maintain and repair generator systems and related electrical equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a variety of settings.

• Manage internal technicians to execute preventative maintenance contracts across a defined geographic territory.
• Track open service tickets, ensure timely completion, and provide status updates to the customer.
• Communicate with customers to address inquiries, resolve problems, and coordinate service or equipment requests.
• Schedule and arrange necessary repairs to restore service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Order parts for repairs and ensure timely delivery for seamless operations.
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, flowcharts, and specifications to facilitate effective problem-solving.
• Review AC/DC electrical and battery inspection reports, providing feedback on immediate or future maintenance needs.
• Maintain detailed preventative and emergency maintenance reports for customer access and review.
