Please note that this a 50/50 hybrid role.

The Enterprise Telehealth Performance Support Specialist will be responsible for driving quality and process improvement initiatives, continuously optimizing telehealth performance and outcomes. This role emphasizes collecting, analyzing, and reporting telehealth data to support operational and strategic decision-making.

By leveraging business intelligence and performance improvement methodologies, the Telehealth Performance Support Specialist will support virtual services performance and efficiency across the enterprise, provide actionable insights through comprehensive reporting, and optimize operations to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for telehealth services, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Implement performance improvement initiatives and best practices to enhance telehealth services.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of performance issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Work closely with clinical, administrative, and technical teams to understand their data needs and provide tailored reporting solutions.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss findings and support decision-making.
  • Propose and implement enhancements to data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
  • Gather and maintain telehealth data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze telehealth data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support service improvement.
  • Aggregate telehealth data for various quality measures, including patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, and service utilization.
  • Create visualizations and dashboards to present telehealth data in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Develop and produce regular and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders, including executive leadership, clinicians, and operations teams.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in telehealth, performance improvement, and data analytics.
Other Related Functions
  • Attends and participates in department staff meetings and other meetings as assigned.
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Licensure/Certification
  • Candidates must be progressing towards achieving AHIC or CHDA® certification within the next two years, demonstrating a commitment to advancing their expertise in healthcare informatics or health data analytics.
Education/Training
  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in data analysis, reporting, and informatics, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
Experience
  • Advanced PC literacy and competency in query building, spreadsheet generation, data management and word processing
  • Strong working knowledge of full Microsoft Office Suite
