Job Description
  • Conduct business analysis and requirements gathering for equity solution projects.
  • Work collaboratively with technology teams to design and implement system enhancements.
  • Identify risks, issues, and provide mitigation strategies.
  • Develop test plans, coordinate user acceptance testing, and facilitate defect resolution.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure solution delivery aligns with business expectations.
  • Provide project status updates to management and stakeholders.
  • Perform system and data analysis to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Ensure all solutions align with compliance and regulatory standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Equity Solutions Business Analyst should have:

  • Extensive Industry Experience: At least 5 years of business analysis experience in the finance industry with deep knowledge of US broker-dealer equity back-office systems like Broadridge Shadow, BPS, or FIS Phase 3.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong IT skills, including the ability to review source code, write and execute SQL queries, and understand scripting languages like Bash, Perl, or Python.
  • Additional Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with programming languages and tools such as C++, C#, Python, XML, XSLT, and Excel VBA is a plus.
