What you will do as a Fire Sprinkler Designer and Estimator :
- Design fire protection systems according to code
- Review contract/ job documents and submit for acceptance
- Create system designs using specialized fire sprinkler layout software
- Estimate and prepare proposals for fire sprinkler systems.
- Prepare bids, complete material takeoffs
- Obtain vendor pricing, and ordering materials.
- Perform basic hydraulic calculations and code research, keep up with code requirements
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
What you will need as a Fire Sprinkler Designer and Estimator :
- 3 + years of experience estimating fire sprinkler systems
- Understand Design and Estimating software tools.
- Ability to read site plans, schematics and scopes
- NICET certifications a plus
