We are in the search for a diligent Staff Accountant to join our team in Lexington, Kentucky. The role involves a range of accounting duties, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll processing, and general accounting. The successful candidate will also be responsible for consulting on ERP systems, managing the general ledger, and conducting month-end closings.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate processing of accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Conduct payroll processing in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain and manage general accounting operations.
• Consult and assist in the implementation and management of ERP systems.
• Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
• Conduct month-end closing procedures and ensure all financial reporting is accurate.
• Utilize software like QuickBooks, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting tasks.
• Perform bank reconciliations and handle journal entries.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all internal processes and financial regulations.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Demonstrated experience with Bank Reconciliations.
• Solid understanding of General Ledger management.
• Proven ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries.
• Experience with Month End Close procedures.
• Proficiency in using accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
• High level of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
