Overview:

The main objective of the BCYF Quincy Community Center's youth employment program is to help youth prepare for the world of work by gaining valuable skills, experience and confidence.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The Program Assistants will assist the Community Center staff (Athletic Staff, Youth Worker and Managers) with the implementation of out-of-school time youth programs and activities (Sport Clinics, Sewing Club, Coding Club, Teen Open Gym, Drop-in Youth Center, etc.) that enrich the students creatively, academically, socially and physically.

Job responsibilities include: actively participating in all the programs and activities; taking attendance; supervising the youth participants; helping to engage the participants in the activity; setting up and breaking down the program equipment; cleaning and disinfecting the program areas and supplies; and maintaining a safe, clean, engaging and inclusive environment for all youth participants.

The Ideal Candidate for this Job: The ideal Program Assistant should be mature, responsible, dependable and enjoy working with youth.
