JOB DESCRIPTION:

Pinao Consulting is looking for a Program Manager III to support the Headquarters (HQ) Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) Logistics, Civil Engineering, Force Protection, and Nuclear Integration Directorate Systems Integration Division (AFMC A4N).

A strong candidate will possess significant experience working with large and diverse teams preforming multi-task contracts of various types and complexity.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the Government’s point of contact to direct, plan and coordinate technical, administrative, financial and contract issues.
  • Provide direct management guidance of contract personnel to ensure that goals and objectives of the project, as well as problem resolution, are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters.
  • Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
  • Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Provide a monthly status report to HQ AFMC/A4NE

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability and experience working with large and diverse teams preforming multi-task contracts of various types and complexity.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively provide guidance, direction, and supervision in all areas of contracted effort such as IT program management, IT systems engineering, application/ system development, IT systems administration and IT system integration.
  • Experience leading projects that involve the successful management of teams composed of data processing and other information management professionals who were involved in analysis, design, integration, testing, documenting, converting, extending, and implementing automated information or telecommunications systems.
  • Demonstrated ability and experience conducting requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, schedule and financial data monitoring, and detail reporting.
  • Experience in the management and control of funds and resources.
  • Experience with hardware and software, configuration control, test and evaluation, systems integration, and systems supportability.
  • Experience in initiating and maintaining technical direction within broad program objectives directly related to hardware and software, configuration control, test and evaluation, systems integration, and systems supportability.
  • Knowledge and experience applying principles and approaches contained in the Program Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
  • Experience with reviewing and proposing the Integrated Program Baseline (or resource-loaded schedule) to the Government.
  • Experience with reviewing and approving financial reports as required.
  • Experience with developing and reviewing Program risk and risk mitigation activities.
  • Experience preparing program status review and other formal reviews to be presented to corporate management.
  • Experience with reviewing all technical reports before release to the Government.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodology.
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification Preferred.

Education:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Management, Business, or related field.

Security Clearance:

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance Required

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Job Type: Full Time
Location: Wright-Patterson AFB, OH

Salary Range: $156,500 – $161,500
