Key Responsibilities:- Research and write articles on Colorado's nature and wildlife
- Reach out over email / phone to conduct interviews with experts in the field of conservation and wildlife
- Create engaging articles that focus on bringing forward interesting facts
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and clarity
- Collaborate with the content management team to publish articles
- Develop and maintain a content calendar
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
- Stay updated on current trends and developments in wildlife conservation
- Create informative guides and fact sheets on local wildlife species
- Promote articles and content through social media channels (reddit, Tripadvisor, social media)
- Assist in outreach and engagement initiatives with the community
- Contribute to the overall mission of promoting natural heritage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for nature, wildlife, and conservation
- Ability to conduct thorough research and interviews
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation
- Basic knowledge of content management systems (CMS) or able to learn quickly
- Attention to detail and strong editing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
