Responsibilities:
Position Responsibilities:
- The EHS Manager promotes and facilitates a work environment that supports a safe and healthy culture identifying best practices and leading continuous improvement initiative to reduce work process risk
- This role provides technical advice, coaching, and mentoring to employees on safety initiatives and coordination of team member training on hazardous condition monitoring and use of safety equipment
- You will support of EHS goals for the site manager and appropriate activity-based goals for the functional managers to drive EHS culture and results
- Additionally, you will support the execution of corporate sustainability strategies, engaging with key stakeholders on projects including investigating accidents and occupational injuries to determine causes and implement preventive measures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree with 5 plus years of related experience and 3 plus years of management experience or High School Diploma/General Education Degree with 8 plus years of specific experience and 4 plus years of management experience
