Project Details:Role:Network Operations ArchitectLocation:[Houston, TX]Duration:6+ months/longtermType:ContractInterview Criteria: Telephonic + Skype Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the client IT and development teams to understand the current system setup and requirements Develop and maintain a detailed architecture diagram for the NNMi application Create a comprehensive requirements document outlining all the conditions, alerts, and functions monitored by the application Ensure all documentation is clear, concise, and accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Update documentation in response to system changes, upgrades, or new requirements Review and maintain existing documentation for completeness and accuracy Evaluate readiness for future app upgrades Required Skills: Experience with smart grid applications and solutions Knowledge of enterprise and transport protocols relevant to smart grid networks Strong understanding of network operations management and monitoring systems, specifically OpenText NNMi Proficiency in creating technical diagrams, including architecture diagrams Familiarity with documentation tools and apps Preferred Skills: Experience with OpenText products and solutions Knowledge of network architecture and protocols Ability to review current state architecture and be able to create a future state during upgrades and migrations Certification in technical writing or related field
