After having spent a few years in the trenches of battery and electric vehicle factories at Tesla and Toyota, Glimpses cofounders developed a vision for a one-stop-shop battery Quality Management Solution, which they actualized through the launch of the in March 2024.Today, Glimpse counts some of the worlds largest battery producers and OEMs, such as Lucid Motors and NASA, among its customers.
As an early-stage engineer at Glimpse, you will shape the direction of the company and its product. Working closely with Glimpse's Chief Technology Officer, you will design and build algorithms to process projection data for high-speed CT reconstruction, empowering Glimpse's customers to quickly diagnose and improve the quality of their batteries.These approaches will unlock rapid, high-quality battery CT scans for our customers and enable them to regain control over their manufacturing operations. These algorithms will serve as core IP of our product.

Requirements
Relevant skills: Python image processing stack (numpy, scikit-image, OpenCV, pytorch, and equivalents); Experience with CT reconstruction
You have:
- Experience developing and/or implementing CT reconstruction algorithms
- Experience with reconstruction preprocessing (e.g., denoising, artifact suppression)
- Experience with deep learning for computer vision
- Experience with image quality analysis in medical, scientific, or manufacturing environments
- Authorization to work in the US
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with system geometric calibration
- Experience with software development for high-performance computing (e.g., CUDA)
- Experience at high-growth, fast-paced startups

Compensation range
$110,000-$180,000 + 0.1%-0.3% equity

Were headquartered in Greentown Labs in Somerville, MA. As an early-stage startup working on hardware and software, we have a strong preference for being in the office more often than not. However, were happy to consider flexibility options for exceptional candidates.
