  • Use Civil 3D to create accurate 3D models, manage terrain data, and support High Definition Scanning (HDS) processes for project mapping.
  • Perform mathematical computations for property and easement layouts, proposed construction, traverse closures, and other survey tasks related to engineering and construction projects.

Qualifications:

  • NSPS Level III Survey Technician Certification preferred, or 2-5 years of relevant survey mapping experience.

  • Familiarity with High Definition Scanning (HDS) and survey data post-processing using tools like NGS OPUS.
  • Knowledge of field and office surveying methods, best practices, and the mathematical procedures essential to accurate surveying.
  • Ability to interpret complex legal descriptions, survey maps, and engineering plans.
  • Communication and Team Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client and team collaboration.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving office methods in support of survey project management.
  • Basic understanding of project budget requirements and a proactive approach to time management, focusing on client satisfaction.
