Assistant to the Quality and Development Manager
The Quality & Development Manager oversees quality assurance in production processes and the development of new products, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that meet customer requirements. This role focuses on quality management, product development support, customer communication, cost analysis, and process optimization.
salary: $23 - $24 per hourshift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities- Conduct regular inspections of products on the production line and verify machine settings during operation.
- Perform incoming inspections and prepare quality reports for raw materials.
- Monitor processes to ensure adherence to product specifications and quality standards and resolve issues promptly.
- Assist Development Engineers during the new product launch process.
- Optimize development processes through process validation and test data collection.
- Prepare PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation for new product launches.
- Assemble and deliver PPAP binders to customers.
- Conduct cost analysis for new development projects and bids.
- Provide compelling cost data for customers during the bidding process.
- Calculate initial cost estimates and manage budgets during the new product development phase.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Participate in biweekly video meetings with customers and Development Engineers to review project progress.
- Address customer concerns and respond promptly to quality or development requests.
- Collaborate with the production team to improve efficiency and propose process improvements to reduce defects.
