Work and Perks:

The Field Training Manager is responsible for leading the Miller’s Ale House (MAH) training process for all hourly Team Members
and in-restaurant training processes. The Field Training Manager acts as the liaison between the Restaurant Support Center (RSC)
Departments and the Operations Team Members to ensure consistency in field training and operational execution of MAH specs
and standards. The Field Training Manager partners with assigned Directors of Operations to ensure MAH training standards are

consistently followed. This position is remote in the Orlando, FL market - Restaurant Based.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Hourly Training, Head Coach, & Lead Head Coach Development
  • Maintains a leadership presence in assigned restaurants to validate the proper execution of all training programs and rollouts and ensures training environments are both positive and safe
  • Trains Lead Head Coaches and Head Coaches to conduct the MAH hourly Team Member orientation and training programs
as designed
  • Develops Lead Head Coaches and Head Coaches to assist with consistency and follow-up of training programs in restaurants
  • Partners with Director of Operations on identifying & certifying new restaurant Head Coaches and regional Lead Head

Coaches

Management Training
  • Assesses MIT performance through observation and interaction to provide feedback, as observed and as received from
MITs, to promote continuous learning and improve performance
  • Partners with MIT-Training Manager to ensure each MIT and Training Restaurant follows the MIT program as designed &
validates MIT completion of the program
  • Follows up on MITs’ work schedules to maintain a 50-hour work week for each MIT
  • Partners with the Director of Operations and MIT-Training Manager on the certification process for all existing and new

Training Restaurants and Training Restaurant Management Teams

Leadership Development
  • Provides support of Leadership Development programs to provide regular feedback and needs assessment for Supervisor,
MIT and Restaurant Manager development programs
  • Assists with development initiatives, mentoring and career pathway for Restaurant Coaches, NRO Coaches, Supervisors, and
Restaurant Managers.
  • Deploys quarterly development trainings, webinars and workshops
Company Rollouts & Initiatives
  • Provides training support, when needed, for rollouts & initiatives throughout the organization.
  • Partners with Director of Operations and Sr. Manager of Training & Implementation to ensure the proper implementation

and continued execution of new initiatives is achieved within restaurants.

New Restaurant Openings
  • Facilitate training and additional support around New Store Openings (when applicable)
  • Assist with administrative tasks associated with NRO, including but not limited to booking and coordinating travel, ordering

materials & classroom set up, etc.

Management Tasks & Administrative
  • Assists with training department-led programming when needed
  • Conducts weekly calls with Director of Operations for alignment on training needs and focuses within each region.
  • Oversees the communication with Lead Head Coaches to schedule and facilitate Regional Coach Meetings and conduct
Regional Head Coach Reviews.
  • Completes the pre-work associated with all Head Coach Reviews and individually follows up on any low scoring Head Coach
Reviews in his/her assigned division.
  • Conducts a monthly financial review to ensure all expenses are within budget.
  • Is personally knowledgeable and can successfully train others on how to utilize MAH’s third-party software platforms; i.e.

Learning Management System (LMS), Point-of-Sale (POS) and restaurant back office systems, etc.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Required Skills & Education
  • Excellent communication skills (verbally interacts with all levels of Management, Team Members and Guests).
  • Excellent computer skills; proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Effectively facilitates classroom sessions for groups ranging from 5-50 people.
  • Excellent time management, organizational and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to multi-task; works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and all local, state and federal labor, food safety and alcohol service standards.
  • Basic Performance-Consulting skills.
  • Understanding in Adult Learning principles.
  • Excellent leadership & development skills.
  • Ability to motivate and influence others.
  • Maintains composure under pressure.
  • Must be in-restaurant the full work week (5 days a week)
  • Must be able to travel 60% - 75% of the time.
  • Ability to drive long distances and be away from home a minimum of 1-4 days at a time.
  • Ability to teach, coach and mentor at all levels of the organization.
  • Minimum three years management and/or training experience preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
