Responsibilities:

Noblis is seeking to hire a Cleared Cloud Solutions Architect with an ACTIVE Top Secret with SCI and Polygraph in Reston, VA

Professionals in cloud engineering are responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure and services to enable organizations to leverage the benefits of cloud computing. They utilize their expertise in cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, automation, and scalability to architect resilient, secure, and cost-effective solutions that meet business requirements.
Typical responsibilities include designing cloud architectures, selecting appropriate cloud services and providers, and implementing cloud infrastructure using tools such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks and configuration management tools.
Cloud engineering roles also involve optimizing cloud resources, monitoring performance, and implementing security measures to ensure data protection and compliance with industry standards. Additionally, professionals collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing systems, migrate applications to the cloud, and provide ongoing support and maintenance.

Their expertise in areas such as cloud technologies, networking, security, and DevOps practices enables organizations to harness the full potential of cloud computing to drive innovation, agility, and scalability in their operations.

You are responsible for leading individual projects, people, or technical/functional solutions, leveraging capabilities and sharing

and seeking knowledge and information across the organization. You understand the current and emerging client space and

evaluate and apply practical and innovative concepts and methodologies to solve difficult problems. Independently complete
routine work. As a part of the Noblis team, you make recommendations to improve standard practices, procedures and tools.

You employ advanced skills and grow project deliverables, as well as your expertise.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Strong Programming Skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C#. Knowledge of cloud-specific programming frameworks and tools, such as AWS Lambda is highly valued.
  • Cloud Computing Certification: Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
  • Must be able to work on-site in Reston, VA

Desired Qualifications:

  • Able to work with different operating systems, including Linux, Windows, Unix, Ubuntu
  • A good understanding of networking, creating effective cloud-based solutions that are both scalable and secure. Should be able to work with domain name system (DNS), transmission control protocol/internet protocol (TCP/IP), virtual private network (VPN), and hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP).
  • Proficient in using Identity and Access Management, firewalls, VPN and in-plane switching (IPS) systems

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws.

The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.

Posted Salary Range: USD $114,100.00 - USD $178,300.00 /Yr.
