We are offering a temporary employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Jacksonville, Florida. The role's main function includes handling accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger activities within our industry.

Responsibilities:
- Handle all Accounts Payable (AP) activities, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and on time.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR), keeping track of all incoming payments and ensuring prompt action on overdue invoices.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations, aligning our records with bank statements to ensure financial accuracy.
- Maintain the General Ledger, recording all business transactions and ensuring accurate reflection in our financial statements.
- Prepare and post Journal Entries, ensuring they are accurate and complete.
- Participate in Month End Close activities, helping to finalize financial reports and statements.
- Utilize financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage and analyze financial data.
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role
- Proficient in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations
- Proficiency in managing General Ledger
- Capable of making accurate Journal Entries
- Familiar with Month-End Close procedures
- Knowledge of NetSuite software is required
- Proficient in using Oracle software
- QuickBooks proficiency is a must-have
- Experience with SAP software is required
