Staff Accountant

Your main responsibilities will include managing both our accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, handling the full cycle of accounting duties, and preparing journal entries and the month-end close.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the company's accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Oversee the general ledger and manage journal entries
• Lead the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial statements
• Handle full cycle payroll duties to ensure all staff are paid accurately and on time
• Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks and financial management
• Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
• Maintain financial security by adhering to internal controls
• Prepare and review appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations
• Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures.
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations
• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations
• Familiarity with General Ledger management
• Ability to process and record Journal Entries accurately
• Experience in managing Month End Close procedures
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks accounting software
• Experience in handling Full Cycle Payroll operations
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of accounting principles and best practices
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
