Accounting Manager/Supervisor

You will also handle bank reconciliations, billing, invoices, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entries.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general ledger functions
• Coordinate and execute month-end and year-end close processes
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage billing activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare and manage invoices and balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain accurate records of all accounting-related transactions and ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
• Conduct regular ledger processes to ensure accuracy
• Handle journal entries and compile them into the general ledger
• Ensure compliance with all internal processes
• Develop and implement improvements to the existing accounting systems and processes
• Collaborate with other department heads to support overall department goals and objectives.
• Proficiency in managing month-end close processes
• Expertise in maintaining and managing general ledger systems
• Capacity to prepare and analyze balance sheets
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Capacity to implement and monitor internal controls and compliance measures
• Proficiency in accounting software and other related financial systems
• Ability to develop and maintain financial policies and procedures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Prior experience in a similar role or in a supervisory position within the accounting field.
