Salary: 80,000-120,000 + bonus

Company Overview: This firm, based in a notable global tech hub, is a recognized investment management entity registered with a major regulatory body. It manages a substantial portfolio worth several billion dollars, emphasizing long-term investments in high-quality growth businesses from varying sectors, including technology, consumer and business services, and financial services.

Responsibilities:

Accounting/Finance:

• Assisting in the preparation and review of financial reports.
• Coordinating the annual audit and quarterly valuations.
• Assisting in fund-related administrative tasks.
• Implementing and maintaining proper documentation for accounting controls and procedures.

Trading:

• Coordinating margin calls for derivative trades/settlements.
• Assisting in private investment deal closing process.

Investor Relations:

• Assisting in coordination of investment requests.
• Maintaining records of capital activity.
• Assisting in updating financial information within the CRM platform.
• Updating data for investor relations materials for current and prospective investors.

Compliance:

• Assisting in preparing US and non-US regulatory filings.
• Providing requested documentation and support for compliance testing and audits.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 2 - 4 years of experience in private equity or hedge fund accounting/operations or in public accounting.
• Extensive knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of Intuit QuickBooks (preferable but not essential).
