As a Logistics Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for working directly with the Logistics Operations Director to define, drive, and launch strategic initiatives across our fulfillment centers and supply chain.

Responsibilities:

+ Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess operational performance and measure business impact.

+ Map current state processes.

+ Design future state best practices.

+ Work with warehouse management teams to identify gaps in resources or tools required to maintain a high level of service.

+ Design and implement SOPs for order fulfillment, inventory, and freight handling functions.

+ Conduct process audits to ensure adherence to best practice and SOPs.

+ Assist Logistics Director with the implementation and roll out of initiatives across the supply chain.

+ Manage risk and work with cross functional teams to develop risk mitigation plans and strategies.

Qualifications:

Required:

+ High School Diploma or GED.

+ 3-4 yrs demonstrated experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management.

+ Experience using WMS, TMS, ERP software (Experience with Oracle ERP a plus.)

+ Proficient with data analytics and reporting.

+ Demonstrated project management skills and proven leadership ability.

+ Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.

+ Comfortable and able to interact with and present to all levels of management.

+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.

+ Willing to travel as needed to support project initiatives and go-live events.

+ Self-starter problem solver.

Preferred:

+ B.A. in relevant discipline (i.e.: Logistics, Supply Chain, etc.)
