Position: DevOps Architect Hiring Mode: 12+ Months Contract Job Description: 5-7+ years of experience implementing/maintaining DevOps platforms within large, complex business environments. 5-7+ years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Jira, Git, Nexus, Tosca, SonarQube, etc.
7+ years of experience interfacing, collaborating, and negotiating with team members, all levels of management, different departments, and vendors to develop solutions, facilitate cooperation between different parties, and obtain stakeholder buy-in.
Ability to analyze complex data and draw accurate and relevant conclusions. Testing tools that is a plus to be helpful with, again as an admin not as a test engineer who will write scripts for: IBM OPTIM and Virtual Data Pipeline Tosca Plutora Role and Responsibilities: Develop, build, test, and deploy DevOps tools to create consistent, verifiable, and automatic management of application and infrastructure within the Grid domain.
Work on the CI/CD deployment by collaborating with cross-functional teams including domain architects, application, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and other subject matter experts. Requires coming up to speed rapidly with the SCE organization and key stakeholders.
Design and implement tool integration with existing tools such as Remedy, Splunk, etc. within the DevOps platform. Gather and analyze requirements and develop test plans for solution validation. Review and enhance comprehensive best practices and setup process standards for maintenance and operations of the DevOps frameworks.
Train and guide the team with streamlined DevOps best practices. Support onboarding and operations of client applications that will utilize the DevOps platform for their Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery. Develop and publish monthly metrics and reporting to measure efficiencies and overall DevOps Platform cycle improvements.
