Receiving Specialist
Adecco is hiring an Receiving Specialist for a client in Brooklyn Park for a 2 month contract opportunity!

JOB SUMMARY:The Warehouse Inventory Specialist manages inventory by receiving, sorting, and moving items within the warehouse. They match manifests to purchase orders, record data in an ERP system, and resolve inventory issues by coordinating with various departments
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Move inventory from receiving dock to designated location.
- Receive and sort inventory, match manifests.
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Resolve inventory issues with various departments.
- Record data in ERP system.
- Perform daily cycle counts and inventory transactions.
- Maintain supplies and stock inventory promptly.
- Pull parts for orders, ensure accurate labeling.
- Follow housekeeping procedures for a safe environment.
- Recommend improvements and perform other assigned duties.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Travel is unlikely but may be required for training or cross-location support. A valid drivers license and the ability to obtain necessary documentation (e.g., passport) are preferred.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
- Three years of related experience.
- Basic data entry and Microsoft Office skills; experience with ERP systems.
- Knowledge of packing/unpacking methods to prevent inventory damage.
- Forklift certification
- Ability to operate manual and powered material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with Lean and Kaizen methods and safety protocols.
Pay Details: $22.40 per hour
