IT Concepts is looking for an experienced SharePoint Designer/Developer to support the deployment, development, and management of SharePoint 2016, 2019 and future versions of SharePoint, SPO O365 and SharePoint Search services for the Social Security Administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the deployment, development, and management of SharePoint 2016, 2019 and future versions of SharePoint, SPO O365 and SharePoint Search services for SSA enterprise infrastructure.
  • Serve as a technical lead and authority on all aspects of SharePoint design and development. Including support for:
  • Optimization of SSA multiple infrastructures; physical, virtual, on premise and cloud.
  • Migration path to O365.
  • Implementation and configuration of third-party tools.
  • Custom workflow troubleshooting and management.
  • Technical support to team members and SSA community.
  • Documentation of farm configurations, problem resolutions, ongoing maintenance tasks, system upgrades.
  • Develop automation to build, configure, and preload data for growing SharePoint sites.
  • Collaborate with other SharePoint Developers on Team Foundation Server and SPO using GIT to create Features/Apps/Add-ins using C#, JavaScript, and supporting code for deployment etc. using PowerShell.
  • Develop and administer Modern Pages. SharePoint Framework.
  • Research and develop new and complex solutions to meet evolving requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain custom system policies for content, storage, user capabilities.
  • Develop implement and deploy custom SharePoint features, solutions, and applications.
  • Provide third-level support to team members and SSA community.
  • Evaluate, install, and configure third party products for SSA’s on premise and cloud SharePoint enterprises.
  • Assist in developing a supportable design for enterprise deployment of SPO and Search.
  • Develop easy to understand use cases and business processes to describe development projects using MS Word, MS Visio.
  • Document procedures & processes required to manage and maintain the proposed design.

Location: Hybrid in Woodlawn, MD

Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience as a SharePoint designer/developer
  • Advanced experience with ticketing systems and escalation processes
  • Experience providing hands-on and remote customer support
  • Expertise in the following areas: Visual Studio 2019, C#, PowerShell, SharePoint CSOM, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, SharePoint JSOM, Visio, technical writing, software testing, administering SPO, O365 Farm
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server 2016 and 2019, IIS, and Kerberos
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent combination of education and 10+ years of relevant work experience.

Clearance:

  • A current SSA Public Trust clearance is highly preferred.
  • The ability to obtain SSA Public Trust clearance is mandatory.
