Job Description

The Assistant Super is responsible for:

  • Working on-site daily at the Revere Beach project location
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with all parties involved in project
  • Identifying and recommending solutions for project risks
  • Supervising hired trades, punch carpenters, and laborers
  • Preparing punch lists and ensuring timely completion before inspections
  • Inspecting subcontractor work for quality and contract compliance
  • Assisting in creating and updating project schedules & ensuring tasks are completed on time
  • Participating in and documenting weekly safety and subcontractor meetings
  • Monitoring material ordering, delivery, and storage to align with project timelines
  • Ensuring compliance with safety policies and maintaining a safe work environment
  • Reviewing plans for errors and verifying dimensions and layouts for compliance
  • Maintaining organized documentation and ensuring responses to third-party inspections and punch lists
  • Collaborating with third-party consultants and inspectors as needed

The Successful Applicant

The right Assistant Super will have:

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering (or other related field)
  • 3+ years of ast super experience ideally on multifamily projects
  • Proficiency using a personal computer and company communication tools
  • Experience in the use of project management and scheduling software (Procore and Textura)
  • Knowledge of construction procedures, building codes, construction procedures, and trade work
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
