Summary:

The Program Analyst III is a senior-level role responsible for providing advanced analysis, evaluation, and strategic recommendations to support the success and improvement of programs. This role involves overseeing complex data analysis, identifying trends, and developing solutions to optimize program performance.

The Program Analyst III works closely with leadership, project managers, and cross-functional teams to align program outcomes with organizational goals and ensure continuous program enhancement.

This position is hybrid position between remote and Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide support in electronic filing and maintaining records of past and current branch documents, compiling technical information for reports, contracts, procurements, and agreements, and updating spreadsheets and trackers.
  • Document performance issues, lessons learned, and issues within an issues management tracker, and ensure the tracker is up to date and actualized in meetings.
  • Track grants and contract obligations and track appropriately from award to de-obligation.
  • Coordinate activities and documents to execute contracts and grants management services, including analyzing and summarizing annual reports from grantees.
  • Maintain records that provide for the proper evaluation, control and documentation of assigned activities; prepare a variety of written correspondence, reports and other materials.
  • Perform complex administrative duties requiring attention to detail and analysis, including participation in strategic planning and financial analysis and preparing specialized program and project budgets and reports (e.g., technical reviews, carryover requests, contract modifications) to support operational needs.
  • Provide logistical support for extramural partner meetings and/or events- onsite and offsite locations.
  • Coordinate and facilitate web-based meetings, teleconferences, and workgroup meetings.
  • Provide onsite meeting support to register attendees, ensure all materials are delivered, setup and help facilitate meetings.

  • Provide logistical and technological support for all conferences or meetings held by the branch.
  • Arrange ongoing weekly and biweekly meetings. Coordinate meetings to include providing conference call lines, production of agenda and materials for discussion.
  • Attend CDC approved trainings required to learn new CDC government systems to complete required tasks.

Qualifications:

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing multiple projects and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in program analysis, project management, or a related analytical role, with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Strong expertise in data analysis, performance measurement, and program evaluation techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of program evaluation methodologies and performance metrics.
  • Project management experience or certification.

The salary range for this $95,000 - $105,00 annually.
