Overview:
A lovely family in Sunny Isles Beach, FL is seeking a career nanny for their two children, ages 8 and 1. The schedule for this role will be Monday through Friday, 7am to 5pm, with some flexibility for additional hours during school holidays or for an occasional date night.Any schedule changes will be communicated well in advance. The older child will be in school full-time, so candidates should be comfortable handling family assistant duties.
Responsibilities:
- Transporting the children home from school and to extracurriculars
- Pro-actively planning outings and play-dates
- Handling child-related organization and tidying
- Errands and grocery shopping
- Preparing simple yet healthy meals and snacks for the children
- Keeping in communication about daily plans
- Coordinating schedule, researching activities, and making appointments
Qualifications:
- Proactive and able to be full-charge- parents are not interested in micromanaging
- Energetic and engaging
- Developmentally aware and able to provide a stimulating and enriching environment
Requirements:
- Experience with multiple young children
- The ability to drive is required
- Occasional travel- domestic and international, up to a week
- History of longevity, and looking for a long-term commitment
- OK with dogs and helping when needed
Salary and Benefits:
- $40-$45 per hour plus health stipend
