Business Development Specialist - Chicago
Our client, a US-based $10 million a year manufacturer of capital equipment that sells into product assembly, woodworking, converting, wire and cable and automotive industries, is seeking a Business Development Specialist/Regional Sales type based in the Midwest (near Minneapolis, Chicago, Milwaukee, Detroit, Grand Rapids or Indianapolis).
Our client is completely reshaping the sales organization by building a direct sales force vs using Independent Reps or an agent network. The goal is to to build a new sales team that will eventually focus on four different Market Segments. This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a growing sales organization.The opportunity to grow into a sales leadership role is there. Company has the capacity and desire to grow into a $30 million organization in the next 2-3 years.
The Business Development Specialist position:
Work from home and travel 30%-35% of the time selling to end-users across all markets nationally.

The ideal candidate will have:
BS/BA coupled with- 10 years of industrial sales experience in either:
o Machinery
o Hydraulics
o Pneumatics
o Pumps
o Fluid dispensing/conveyor systems
Preference shown for candidates with experience in selling direct to end users(link removed)>
Compensation:
$90k - $110k + Commission
