Accounting Administrator - Robert Half

We are currently looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator with a strong background in Accounting and HR to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be the backbone of the organization, assisting with and managing a wide range of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of their business.

This role requires deep knowledge regarding office procedures, as well as experience with accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform clerical duties such as taking and directing phone calls, drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, and maintaining filing systems.
  2. Efficiently manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
  3. Carry out human resource duties including, but not limited to, recruitment, onboarding, maintaining personnel records, and handling employee queries.
  4. Oversee the upkeep and overall maintenance of the office.
  5. Monitor office supplies, place orders when necessary, and manage relationships with vendors.
  6. Implement and maintain procedures and office administrative systems.
  7. Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  8. Use QuickBooks for various accounting tasks, including data entry and financial reporting.
  9. Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant, or relevant role.
  10. Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures.
  11. Proficiency in MS Office and be adept with the workings of advanced technological devices and gadgets.
  12. Familiarity with basic accounting principles and proficiency in QuickBooks.
  13. Strong communication and organizational skills.
  14. Experience managing HR responsibilities.
  15. Degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.
