Overview:
Under the direction of the Vice President of Quality Improvement and Compliance, the Regulatory Affairs Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that programs, services, and operations comply with agency policies, local, state, and federal regulations specific to OPWDD settings.This role involves managing regulatory documentation, monitoring compliance, and serving as a key resource for audits and inspections of agency programs and services.

Responsibilities:
Primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Conduct and independently oversee on-site surveys of agency programs and services as assigned.
- Interpreting regulations, applicable guidance and internal policies as needed.
- Participating at exit conferences following surveys.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive reports related to surveys and findings.
- Stay up to date on regulatory and programmatic requirements relevant to agency programs and services by participating in in-service training sessions and other professional development opportunities as assigned.
- The position requires extensive work in the field.
- Perform additional related duties and tasks as needed or assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required, bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field preferred,
- 5 years’ experience in OPWDD program operations and/or quality assurance activities.
- Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Computer Proficiency required.
- Qualified NYS Driver's License required.
