The Maintenance Mechanic will be tasked with assisting in the preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of manufacturing equipment. This role involves removing and installing machine components to ensure the safe and efficient operation of production equipment.

Key responsibilities include troubleshooting systems to identify the causes of machine failures and suggesting repair solutions. The mechanic will work closely with Process Technicians and Operators to gain insight into machine failures or component fabrication requirements.

Additionally, the role entails designing, fabricating, and welding machine components or fixtures to ensure the proper functionality of facility equipment. The mechanic will document machine malfunctions and necessary adjustments, conduct test runs of machine modifications to verify safe operation and compliance with quality standards, and perform routine analyses and calculations, recommending changes to equipment, products, or testing methods.

Maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of maintenance equipment, tools, and work areas is essential. The mechanic will also repair building and grounds equipment, fixtures, and tools as needed to ensure the safety of all employees.

Preventative maintenance and inspections on facility equipment will be performed as scheduled, and adjustments to the preventative maintenance schedule may be recommended based on knowledge of equipment issues and necessary fixes.

salary: $52,650 - $66,560 per year
