Synerfac is seeking a Reactor Coolant Pump Motor Mechanic for our client in Chesapeake, VA. Our client is one of the largest independently owned motor and pump shops in the U.S. that focuses on rebuilding and remanufacturing rotating electrical and mechanical equipment.
Responsibilities:- Disassembly and reassembly of vertical motors up to 12,000 HP (13.2kw Voltage).
- Work with and around radioactive materials (using proper PPE).
- Troubleshoot oil leaks, vibration problems, etc.
- Perform incoming and outgoing test runs on motors.
- Basic overhead crane and rigging
