Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accounts Receivable Specialist in the Real Estate & Property industry, based in NEW YORK, New York, United States. This role involves managing rent and subsidy payments within a real estate context, generating precise resident invoices, and addressing inquiries related to rent, maintenance, and common charges.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee rent and subsidy payment management
• Create and distribute accurate resident invoices
• Address inquiries related to rent, maintenance, and common charges
• Conduct scanning and depositing of checks
• Aid with property transitions
• Reconcile resident accounts
• Utilize property management software such as Yardi and MRI for tasks
• Handle cash activity and cash handling responsibilities
• Engage in duties related to commercial and residential real estate.
• Associate’s degree in business, finance or related field is preferred, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in accounts receivable in a residential or commercial real estate setting.
• Exhibit proficiency in navigating computers and property management software to include Microsoft Office, Yardi, MRI and ClickPay.
• Possess fundamental math skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with practical experience in data entry.
• Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Provide the best possible customer service experience to our internal and external clients.
• Ability to travel off site to complete banking deposits.
• Work authorization (required).
