Dispatch Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Dispatch Manager to oversee the daily dispatch operations of our client's team. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a keen eye for detail.

As the Dispatch Manager, you will ensure efficient and timely coordination of our client's dispatch team, optimize routing, and maintain high levels of customer service. Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in dispatch management, logistics, or fleet coordination
  • Understanding of dispatch software and GPS tracking systems
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Leadership and team management experience
  • Knowledge of transportation safety regulations and compliance standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

salary: $28.85 - $33.65 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day dispatch operations and manage a team of dispatchers
  • Develop efficient routing schedules for timely and cost-effective delivery or service
  • Coordinate with drivers, technicians, or service teams to ensure prompt arrival and job completion
  • Monitor real-time activities and respond to any issues or delays
  • Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, driver logs, and service reports
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Liaise with customers to communicate estimated arrival times, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction
  • Analyze dispatch data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate dispatch team members to ensure high performance
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, logistics, and customer service, to enhance service quality
  • Handle emergency or last-minute scheduling changes effectively
