Full Charge Bookkeeper

Expanding Huntington area company seeks a well-rounded bookkeeper to add to its team. Immediate permanent opportunity will have you responsible for transactional bookkeeping including Accounts Payable, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, bank and account reconciliations.

Responsibilities:
- Accurately process transactions including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Handle Cash Posting and Cash Reconciliations tasks efficiently.
- Conduct regular bank and account reconciliations.
- Manage Billing and Payroll processing.
- Use Microsoft Excel and POS - Point of Sale systems for managing and tracking transactions.
- Maintain detailed records for audit purposes.
- Provide regular financial reports to the management.
- Utilize knowledge of the Restaurant industry to optimize bookkeeping practices.
- Ensure all financial data is up to date and accurate.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries related to financial matters
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a bookkeeping role, preferably within a POS environment
- Proficiency in Cash Posting and Cash Reconciliations.
- Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP).
- Thorough understanding of Bank Reconciliations.
- Familiarity with POS - Point of Sale systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
