My client has numerous operations within the Energy sector with a highly diversified portfolio of companies across wind energy, solar energy, battery storage, etc.They are excited to expand their team with an Accounting Manager joining the team!
Job Description- Conduct research on and apply accounting standards for complex transactions or assist in implementing newly issued accounting standards.
- Manage relationships with multiple external accounting service providers, ensuring services are delivered accurately and on time.
- Review financial statements to ensure they are accurate and comply with GAAP.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits, ensuring audit findings are resolved promptly.
- Analyze and assess accounting implications and contractual reporting requirements for specific legal agreements.
- Identify and implement process enhancements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations.
- Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders in the US and with global parent company.
- Provide coaching and supervise specific workstreams handled by the accounting associate.

The Successful Applicant- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years Accounting experience
- Public accounting/audit experience needed
- Renewable/Energy/Infrastructure/Power & Utilities industry experience preferred
- CPA nice to have
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and follow through on completion of high-profile projects
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
