Assembly Associate
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Associates for upcoming positions in the Greenville/Spartanburg areas. The ideal candidates will be responsible for assembling products or components, ensuring quality standards are met, and following safety protocols in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble product components according to work orders and technical instructions.
- Inspect materials and finished products for defects or deviations from quality standards.
- Perform tasks using hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment.
- Ensure assembly processes are completed efficiently and in compliance with safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Work with team members to meet daily production goals and timelines.
- Document production data, such as quantity and defects, as required.
- Assist in troubleshooting any assembly or mechanical issues that arise during production.
- Adhere to company policies regarding safety, quality, and process improvement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require a specific technical certification).
- Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Basic computer skills may be required for data entry and process tracking.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Some positions may require working in shifts, including weekends or overtime as necessary.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automated assembly lines or machinery.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in the manufacturing industry.
Pay Details: $16.50 to $18.50 per hour
