Supply Chain Analyst

We have an immediate opportunity with our Modesto client for a Supply Chain Analyst to join their team on a contract to hire basis.

The company uses SAP for general ledger, purchasing, and accounts payable, while other platforms manage inventory and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with operations and finance teams to create Annual Operating Plans and forecasts for purchasing, manufacturing, and distribution.
• Analyze profit and loss (P& L) to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Conduct monthly close activities and ensure accurate reporting.
• Monitor and review raw material and finished goods inventory activities.
• Maintain standard costs, bills of materials (BOMs), and product costing.
• Report on obsolete packaging, ingredient inventory, spend variances, and cost transfers.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and generate accountability, yield, and utilization reports.
• Ensure compliance with filings for government agencies (federal, state, local).
• Perform account reconciliations, weekly/monthly operations reporting, and ad hoc analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance ideal.
• 3+ years of experience preferably in a Manufacturing setting.
• Inventory Control experience
• Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
